Botryoidal Prehnite on Quartz with Epidote from Meigu Co., China

A few light green colored Prehnite crystals nestled in a matrix of water-clear Quartz crystals from the classic Prehnite locality of China – the Hongquizhen Quarry in Meigu Co.  The Quartz points are perfectly terminated, highly lustrous with milky white inclusions at the bottom section of the Quartz points.  Translucent, well-formed botryoidal Prehnite crystals have a waxy luster and interesting cleavage on the surface.  Mined in 2017, the Prehnite and Quartz combo pieces have not been found since 2018.  Patches of deep green Epidote centered both the front and back side of the pieces, adding real pizzazz and uniqueness.  Comes with a high quality copper-wired display stand.
