An exquisite Prehnite and Babingtonite specimen from the Meigu Co., and it is a complete floater!  Jet black, jewelry- grade Babingtonite formed as prismatic crystals abundantly and aesthetically scattered on the Prehnite matrix in places.  Babingtonite rarely formed as prismatic crystals but most often as small flat plates and in grainy, platy aggregates.  The intergrown Prehnite spheres are translucent in a pastel lime-green color.  This was found in November 2019 in the Hongquizhen Quarry, Meigu Co. in China, a world-class locale renowned for their crystal clear Quartz points, Prehnite and Babingtonite fine specimens.
