Large chunks of prismatic Babingtonite crystals aesthetically resting on a bed of Quartz matrix from Meigu Co., Sichuan, China.  The Meigu Co. has practically stopped producing specimen since 2018 although we’re still hoping to see more of its world-class quality Prehnite, Quartz and Babingtonite combo pieces.  Excavated in 2017, the botryoidal yellow-green Prehnite contrasts nicely with tabular, doubly terminated crystals of grey-black Babingtonite which has a medium luster.  Babingtonite rarely forms as prismatic crystals and there are more than a dozen of them appeared on the display side, mesmerizing and valuable!  This is a large and showy specimen at a very reasonable price for its size and quality.  Comes with a high quality copper-wired display stand.
