A true beauty! This two-sided Azurite specimen from the Liufengshan Mine is packed with colors and details. The Chrysocolla on the display side forms in the shape resembling "waves" of beautiful blue color gradients. Grown on a botryoidal Malachite matrix, the deep royal blue Azurite crystals dispalying on both sides are very sparkly and gemmy. Mesmerizing and very attractive in person!
Liufengshan Mine is well-known for two types of Azurite – extremely crystallized Azurite of which the crystals are usually of a larger size and are thicker; Azurite with Chrysocolla and Malachite pseudomorph which shows a dazzling range of colors and a significantly bright blue Azurite.
