A breathtaking, large cabinet specimen of Azurite crystals fully loaded on a matrix with Malachite intergrown.  The locality is the world-class Liufengshan Mine, Anhui, China.  The piece is composed of heavily crystalized, countless Azurites back to front that sparkle from light coming in from any direction.  The front of the piece consists of at least 85% Azurite with a small amount of small Malachite crystals intergrown with the Limonite matrix peaking through in places.  It is way more beautiful and sparkly in person than photos or video!

A high quality display case made of pure copper and acrylic is included in the price.

Liufengshan Mine is well-known for two types of Azurite – extremely crystallized Azurite of which the crystals are usually of a larger size and are thicker; Azurite with Chrysocolla and Malachite pseudomorph which shows a dazzling range of colors and a significantly bright blue Azurite.
