The beauty of the piece is off the chart! Excavated from the Dongchuan Cu ore field from May to June 2021, these new combo specimens WOW the Chinese mineral collecting world. Dozens of well-formed balls of highly crystalized Azurite aesthetically scattered on the Quartz in places. They are very sparkly and have a great color – royal blue! Goethite pseudomorphs are formed partially on the Quartz surfaces, adding extra colors to the piece. Some tiny, pastel green Malachite crystals have grown over the Quartz shapein the shape of balls, very interesting and unique. Obtained directly from the miner’s home on-site, beautiful and undamaged pieces are extremely rare. It is a magnificent specimen of mineral history, from time and place. Comes with a high quality copper-wired display stand.
