Beryl var. Aquamarine on Muscovite from Hunza Valley, Pakistan

    Dimension: 12.6cm x 10.5cm x 5.5cm

    Weight: 472g

Locality: Nagar, Hunza Valley, Gilgit District, Gilgit-Baltistan, Pakistan

A pristine specimen collected from the bottom of a small pocket find in Hunza Valley of Pakistan.  It features a lustrous, gem quality Beryl var. Aquamarine of sharp hexagonal prism with modified small corner faces aesthetically perched on a Muscovite matrix.  The pastel blue Aquamarine is of absolutely limpid clarity with high internal brightness, measuring 2.7cm x 2.6cm x 2cm in size.  The blades of Muscovite reflects different color as light passes through, from silver to champagne gold.  Complete all around, an outstanding centerpiece.
