Epidote on Quartz var. Amethyst (Super Seven)

This find was at least over three years ago (finished now) really stirred things up for a while.  Amethyst is not common from China, so miners were delighted to find these plates of lustrous, beautiful crystals with bright to deep moss-green Epidote crystals sprinkled over the Amethyst crystal cluster (also commercially called "Super Seven").  The main Amethyst Quartz Point has a minor chipping tip but this piece has a beautiful balance in terms of color and combination.
